At the end of January, Jordan\u2019s National Energy Research Centre (NERC)<\/a> and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia<\/a> organized the 2nd<\/sup> annual meeting of the MINARET project in Amman. The meeting of the MENA Region Initiative as a Model of NEXUS Approach and Renewable Energy Technologies (MINARET) was an opportunity for discussions on the theme of \u201cAccess to Finance \u2013 NEXUS at a Decentralized Scale\u201d. A workshop, including experience sharing, focussed on solutions to help local governments, institutions and municipalities access financial resources.<\/p>\n
